Can I use a friend's referral alongside campaign code SWATCH?+
Yes. Campaign codes and friend referrals are independent fields at signup, and they stack. Drop SWATCH in as the campaign code and your friend's personal referral code in the referral field. You get the 15% cashback (or the free Swatch); your friend gets Hyperbeat's standard referral reward, which runs separately from this campaign. If you don't have a friend's referral, just SWATCH is fine.
Can new users also win the free Swatch?+
Yes, as long as they fully qualify. That means signed up this week with campaign code SWATCH (a friend's referral on top is fine but not required), completed one settled payment of any amount on anything other than Swatch before Saturday midnight local time, and made a qualifying Swatch purchase during the weekend. New and existing customers go into the same pool, one ticket each, one winner across the lot.
Why do new users need a transaction before Saturday midnight?+
Because we want the 15% cashback (and the shot at a free watch) to reward real customers, not bonus-hunters who sign up for one weekend and disappear. Completing one ordinary purchase before Saturday midnight local time (anywhere except Swatch, any amount) tells us you actually use the card. It's a small ask for a meaningful bonus.
Can an existing customer use their own referral code to sign up a new account?+
No. Self-referrals and accounts sharing the same KYC identity as the referrer are not valid Track B entries. Our one-per-KYC rule means closing one account and opening another doesn't reset your status either. The referral path is for actual new customers being introduced by an existing one.
Can I split my purchase into multiple transactions?+
No. Only one transaction per cardholder counts: specifically, your highest-value qualifying transaction. The $500 cap applies to that single transaction. Splitting won't double the cashback or get you extra draw entries.
What if I return the watch?+
All cashback on that transaction is forfeit, including partial refunds. If you bought a $300 watch, took your $30 cashback, then returned $50 worth, we recover the full $30 from your next statement. This applies for 90 days after settlement. If the draw winner returns their watch, the prize is forfeit and we may pick another winner.
When does the cashback (or prize) actually arrive?+
After your transaction settles and the weekend closes. Plan for cashback within 30 days of the promo end, as a statement credit. We pay later rather than instantly so we can verify the transaction wasn't reversed.
Why both merchant name and MCC?+
Because either check alone is gameable. A merchant called "Swatch Cafe" on a restaurant MCC would qualify on a name-only rule. Any other jewelry or watch boutique would qualify on an MCC-only rule. Requiring both means only real Swatch transactions pass.
What if Hyperbeat suspects fraud?+
We reserve the right to revoke cashback (and the draw prize) on any transaction we reasonably believe was structured, falsified, or designed to game the campaign. This includes manipulated merchant data, duplicate accounts on one KYC, self-referrals, collusion with merchants, and signup-then-vanish patterns.
Terms & Conditions+
01 · Agreement+

By participating, you agree to these terms in addition to the standard Hyperbeat Cardholder Agreement.

02 · Promo period+

The Promo covers two calendar days, Saturday and Sunday, between 00:00 and 23:59 local time of the cardholder's registered residence. Eligibility is determined by the authorization timestamp of the qualifying transaction, not the posting or settlement date.

03 · Eligibility & user definitions+

Open to holders of an active Hyperbeat Visa card in good standing at the time of the qualifying transaction. Accounts that are frozen, in arrears, or under fraud review are excluded.

Existing customer (Track A): a cardholder whose Hyperbeat account was opened before the date this Promo was publicly announced.

New customer (Track B): a cardholder whose Hyperbeat account is opened on or after the Promo announcement date and before Friday 23:59 local of the Promo week, having entered the campaign promo code SWATCH at signup and who has completed the activation requirement in clause 05. A personal referral code from an existing Hyperbeat cardholder may be entered independently at signup; it does not affect Track B qualification but may entitle the referring cardholder to rewards under Hyperbeat's standard referral program, which is separate from this Promo.

A "valid referral code" is one issued by Hyperbeat to a cardholder who, at the time the new customer signs up, holds an active account in good standing and is not the same KYC identity as the new customer.

Hyperbeat employees, contractors, and immediate family members are excluded from the Promo.

04 · Qualifying weekend transaction+

A weekend transaction at Swatch qualifies only if all of the following are true:

  • Processed on the Visa network using the cardholder's Hyperbeat card.
  • Merchant descriptor contains the case-insensitive substring "swatch".
  • MCC is one of 5094, 5651, or 5631.
  • Authorization timestamp falls within the Promo period (Saturday or Sunday, local time).
  • Fully settled and not subsequently reversed.
05 · New customer activation+

For a Track B customer to be eligible for cashback or the free-Swatch prize, at least one separate transaction must be completed before the Promo period, satisfying all of:

  • Authorized and fully settled before Saturday 00:00 local time of the Promo week.
  • Of any amount (no minimum).
  • At a merchant whose descriptor does not contain "swatch" and whose MCC is not one of those listed in clause 04.
  • Not subsequently reversed within the Promo's clawback window.

This "activation transaction" demonstrates good-faith account usage. Cashback and free-Swatch eligibility under Track B are withheld until the activation transaction is verified as settled and intact.

06 · Single qualifying transaction+

Only one transaction per cardholder qualifies under this Promo: defined as the highest-value qualifying weekend transaction by that cardholder. Additional weekend transactions at Swatch by the same cardholder do not earn additional cashback and do not add additional draw entries.

07 · Cashback rates and cap+

Track A · 10%: cashback equal to 10% of the qualifying transaction value, calculated on the first $500 of that transaction. Maximum cashback $50.

Track B · 15%: cashback equal to 15% of the qualifying transaction value, calculated on the first $500 of that transaction. Maximum cashback $75.

A cardholder cannot receive cashback under both tracks. Track B requires the conditions in clauses 03 and 05 to be met; otherwise the cardholder is treated as a Track A customer (if they qualify) or is ineligible, as applicable.

08 · Free-Swatch draw+

One qualifying cardholder, across both Track A and Track B, will receive the entire value of their qualifying weekend transaction as a statement credit, in lieu of (not in addition to) the regular cashback. Mechanics:

  • Every cardholder with a qualifying weekend transaction under either track receives a single draw entry. One entry per cardholder, regardless of number of transactions or which track.
  • Track B (new) customers must have satisfied the activation requirement in clause 05 to receive a draw entry, regardless of which signup code they used.
  • The winner is selected at random within 30 working days after the campaign finishes.
  • The prize is capped at $500. If the qualifying transaction exceeds this amount, the cardholder receives $500 in lieu of the regular cashback they would otherwise earn.
  • If the winner's transaction is later reversed, refunded, or found to be ineligible, the prize is forfeit and a new winner may be selected at Hyperbeat's discretion.
09 · Referral interaction+

Track B qualification is controlled by the campaign code SWATCH only. A new Track B customer may, independently and at the same signup, enter a personal referral code from an existing Hyperbeat cardholder; doing so does not affect their Track B cashback or free-Swatch eligibility. Where a referral code is entered, Hyperbeat's standard referral program (if any) applies separately to the referring cardholder and is not part of this Promo. The referring cardholder's rewards (if any) are governed by the terms of that program; this Promo does not modify them.

10 · Payout timing+

Cashback and prize credits are issued as a statement credit within 30 days of the Promo end, after the underlying transaction has settled and been verified. Payouts are issued automatically.

11 · Refunds, reversals & chargebacks+

If a qualifying transaction is fully or partially refunded, charged back, voided, or otherwise reversed within 90 days of settlement, the corresponding cashback (or prize) is forfeit in full and will be debited from the cardholder's next available Hyperbeat statement. Partial refunds result in full (not pro-rata) forfeiture of cashback on that transaction.

12 · Exclusions+

The Promo does not apply to: cash withdrawals, balance transfers, gift card purchases, third-party wallet top-ups, marketplace or aggregator transactions where the underlying merchant cannot be identified, fees or interest charges, transactions later identified as fraudulent, transactions on closed or restricted accounts, and transactions that do not route through the Visa network.

13 · One-per-KYC+

Multiple cards, accounts, or sub-accounts linked to the same KYC identity count as a single cardholder for all purposes under this Promo, including cashback eligibility, cap, and draw entry. A KYC identity may not hold both a Track A and Track B entry. Closing and reopening an account during the Promo week does not reset eligibility or convert an existing customer to a new customer. Self-referrals (where the referring and referred parties share a KYC identity) do not count as a valid Track B entry.

14 · Fraud & abuse+

Hyperbeat reserves the right to withhold, reduce, or reclaim cashback and prize payouts from any cardholder it reasonably believes has structured transactions, manipulated merchant data, abused signup or referral mechanics, colluded with a merchant or referring cardholder, operated duplicate accounts, or otherwise engaged in conduct intended to game the Promo. In cases of suspected fraud, Hyperbeat may also suspend or close the account in accordance with the Cardholder Agreement, and any such determination is at Hyperbeat's sole discretion.

15 · Modifications+

Hyperbeat may modify, suspend, or terminate the Promo at any time, with or without notice. Cashback already credited in good faith on qualifying transactions completed before such modification will not be reclaimed except as provided in clauses 11 and 14.

16 · Governing law+

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the cardholder's jurisdiction of residence as recorded by Hyperbeat. Disputes are subject to the dispute resolution provisions of the Cardholder Agreement.
